Companies like Wizards of the Coast (WotC) are expanding and over 9 million people world-wide now enjoy regular D&D sessions, as well as shows like Critical Role are now the top earning streams on Twitch. These are a cultural movement gaining speed and influence.

This is a really cool descriptive history. I would love to know where you see modern genre-blending works like Butchers ‘The Dresden Files’ and the like fit in. You’ve given me a host of new books and authors to add to my reading list for this year!
